I'm thuper
Okay, so I'm probably way behind the curve on this one, but I found my way to this guy's website, and because of that, I found my way to the Build-Yourself-As-A-Southpark-Character-Thingy.
It requires flash, and it entertained me for tens of minutes.
Have a great weekend, everybody.
Go Lakers!

I like it, baby! I usually have a lot of time on my hands at work and this gives me something else to do. I also like to morph celebs, visit various friends' websites and research dog breeds. Great fun! :-)

Jeez, I look A LOT like the little South Park character that I made of me.
*spirals into deep depression over issues involving the roundness of my head and body* =)

That thing is entirely too much fun.

Hi Wil,
Thanks for letting me know about this South Park game/character creation device! Its great fun, and even better fun when you are worse the wear for drink, like i am at the moment!
Cheers mate,
Justin

Wil, you gotta check out the SP character I made for ya over in the Soapbox, in the "Everything Else" thread. Actually, I made two- there's an Evil Wil too. :)
>^..^

made myself as a school-teacher carrying an automatic weapon. Ah, therapy.
Just kidding...don't hurt me....

Love the way you used your - uh - traveller thing- to move all the way to the 6 of July, dude. Keep up the cool site and thanks for that great story about Ferris. It even brought tears to the eyes of my mewmews.
Posted by: duchess | June 7, 2002 7:44 PM
Lakers suck!
It's all a conspiracy between David Stern and NBC to have the Lakers win it all. Wil, even your guy Ralph Nader thinks so, he wants the NBA to look into the officiating of Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. Go Nets!! (anybody other than the Lakers) :-)
Posted by: Scott | June 7, 2002 7:45 PM
You can save it. See that button at the top right of your keyboard, marked 'Print Screen'? [maybe 'PrtScn' in your case]. Hit it once, and open your favourite image editing software [or MS Paint, everyone seems to have that] and paste your screenshot in. Better yet, hold the Alt key as you press print screen, and you'll get just the window selected [make sure it's the browser!] instead of the whole screen.
Any questions, class?

Yeah ..go lakers..GO AWAY!!!
Sorry no team player here..
Not into sports at all.
Bah humbug.

Not entertaining enough. No speedos. No lederhosen. No gaudy hawaiian shirts. No Vietnamese hooker outfit.

Posted by: Marie | June 7, 2002 9:22 PM
Ok, for the last frikkin time, folks, hit the "Post" button ONCE.
Once is the number of times you shall hit it, and you shall hit the button only once.
ONCE.
Nick Burr, this means you.
Posted by: KJB | June 7, 2002 9:36 PM
What about July?
Posted by: K. | June 7, 2002 9:36 PM
Yep.
I messed up the date.
This is a big deal...why?
Posted by: wil | June 7, 2002 10:37 PM
I made Kick Ass- but it woud lt me print it out
:( bummer oh well-----

That southpark thing, is quite possibly, the strongest instigator of self-perspective analysis I've ever seen. My SP character is dressed in khaki pants, dark shirt, bedhead, dark circles under the eyes and a grimace. Hmmm...I put BASTARD on my shirt cuz I look like it.
Posted by: me | June 7, 2002 11:50 PM
Hey cool like man. Way to be.
Posted by: Chelsey | June 7, 2002 11:56 PM
I am not sure exactly what the fuck I am posting about.. but craqnk yankers is on.. and its nifty stuff.
Posted by: hops | June 8, 2002 12:10 AM
That is way too funny... you rock.
Posted by: froggie | June 8, 2002 12:13 AM
That's funny. I made a "South Park"-ish self-portrait of myself out of construction paper many years ago. Check it out.

Heh.
Posted by: Courtney | June 8, 2002 2:02 AM
heh. Crank Yankers. Wil should do that. I was a bit disappointed with the first episode. They need less of the dumb skits (ie: kung-fu monkey, wu-tang clan) and more of the prank calls. I did laugh my ass off, however, when I found out Steve Colbert did one of the voices. They even made the puppet look like him. The thought of celebrities pranking people cracks me up. I'm not exactly sure why...
Maybe I need help. I've been listening to too much Jerky Boys lately too.
Posted by: yoyofool | June 8, 2002 4:45 AM
You can save your image of the South Park character. Do a print screen in Windows, or use an imaging program like Paintshop Pro or Photoshop to import it.
Mine's on my page (link above), and a friend took a bunch of ours and made Blog Park (see www.painted-turtle.com).
Posted by: Scott | June 8, 2002 6:30 AM
I love it!
But... Anyone notice you can't make Cartman on this thing?
Too much money for the extra 100 pixels I guess...
I guess that's what you get for being a fat ass...
Posted by: Potch | June 8, 2002 6:41 AM
Hey ya'll...I'm so sick ofthese people who do not know how to hit the post button ONCE......I agree with KJB...HIT THE BUTTON ONLY ONCE.
As for the date, alright ya'll. Give Wil a break. I mean he does live with this hella woman called his wife, he has these two grat step-sons and he lives with all the animal actors from 101 dalmations.....
And he's a Lakers fan ??? Somebody pay hands on that boy !!! He needs deliverance !!
( of course this coming from a former Chicago Bulls fan now turned into a Houston Rockets fan under the threat penalty of divorce from my husband - and neither as done s--- recently...)
Posted by: Vikki | June 8, 2002 6:48 AM
ya'll need to overlook my spelling errors. The post says 6:48 am but it really is 8:48 am and I am STILL in sleep mode with two ferocious little girls running around me........God, I need a vacation !
Posted by: Vikki | June 8, 2002 6:51 AM
holy piss! the date says July 06th, 2002 and I thought I missed a month for a second. :(
Posted by: Erin | June 8, 2002 8:27 AM
*giggles* I discovered this yesterday and intended to post a link to it in your comments, but forgot. I want to see South Park Wil! Hee.
Posted by: angeline | June 8, 2002 9:44 AM
There's a simple solution to the South Park character lack-of-save-fuction dilemma, people...it's called screen capture. If you're using a Windows computer, just press the button on your keyboard labeled "Print Screen," then paste the result into the graphic editor of your choice. I'm using mine (looks a bit like me, too!) as my avatar on the discussion board on my site. Go to my URL, and look for any post by "Mike Jackson."
Posted by: the barking dog | June 8, 2002 10:12 AM
You know, Wil, some people chart their very existance by this weblog. I think it highly inconsiderate of you to make such an egregious error on today's date. After all, had some moderately in-touch members of this board not pointed out the discrepancy, there would probably been a handful of people out there missing an entire month of their lives!
Do try to be more careful next time.
Posted by: Internal Audience | June 8, 2002 10:26 AM
Neat!
Posted by: fenaray | June 8, 2002 11:04 AM
But what about those of us who like anachronisms? What about us?! Now he's gone and 'corrected' the mistake, when it may have been aesthetically more pleasing to some of his fans for it to remain there.
(sigh)
When will people learn that not all mistakes need to be corrected? Did God correct the platypus?
Posted by: john | June 8, 2002 12:51 PM
John's right. Had God corrected the platypus, he would have had to use another, less impactive example. And thank youm Internal Audience for the realization that I rely on the dates of people's weblogs to determine what time of year it is. I need to get out more :)
Posted by: Erin | June 8, 2002 1:55 PM
...except God didn't make the platypus, wizards from Unseen University did.
Posted by: KJB | June 8, 2002 2:41 PM
Oh man. I can't believe this. "this guy" is my old college roommate! He's been blogging like a week, and Wil links to him! What a lucky bastard. ;)
Guess that answers his question on whether or not Wil read his e-mail...
Posted by: Jack | June 8, 2002 2:47 PM
"Yep.
I messed up the date.
This is a big deal...why?
Posted by wil at June 7, 2002 10:37 PM"
Because we are such devoted fans we just can't believe you could ever make a mistake. You have shattered all our illusions. :)
Posted by: NickW | June 9, 2002 2:47 AM
If the wizards at Unseen University are really responsible for the platypus
Then that means Angua really exists...damn, I want to meet her.

I just had this twisted idea of using the generated images (shrunk down smaller) as illustrations to go along with my vitae. They're faster to make than having to sift though all those photos and pick out non-dorky ones.
