weekend.

Spent the weekend playing front yard touch football and whiffle ball with the kids. Tried very hard to care about the Superbowl, but I just couldn't do it.

Played so much Vice City my thumbs hurt, and I dreamed that I was Tommy Vercetti last night. Very lucid, very strange.

Did lots of work in the garden -- it's been in the 80s here for over a week, so we decided to take advantage of the warm while we had the chance.

Wasted almost 18 hours trying to do several computer things. None of them work. Stupid computers.

Haven't heard anything about the auditions.

GO BUCS!!!

48-21

Nuff said!!

Keep the faith on the audition Wil, I would love to see you opposite the other Will (Smith).

The 80's, huh?

Meanwhile, New York has been colder than MOSCOW. That's right, Moscow, Russia.

Trade ya! :-)

I, Robot was one of the first SF books I ever read. It would be way cool if you got that part.

arrrggg..
glad you're haveing nice weather...but it makes me want to shake my fist in anger...
up in Toronto, we're currently shivering our collective asses off....
s'been pretty brutal lately, cold-wise...

anyhow, sounds like ya had a great weekend...
all the best, and still sending lots of frozen mojo to ya about the audition....

cheers

ty

Your weekend sounds productive around your house :)I hope you enjoyed the 80 degree weather, I am suffering through 11 f degree weather here in Ontario Canada.
in short, part of my weekend was spent at an arena after waking up at 5am to do my daughters hair and makeup. My daughter (a special Olympian in figure skating) won the bronze medal on Saturday morning.

Here is to more productive weekends :)

Strangely enough, I too had a Tommy Vercetti dream last night, but I think that's because I spent an hour watching my boyfriend complete that last mission before they give you the helicopter with guns on it.

That's my strategy. Let Francis accrue the hours of saved gameplay and completing missions, then come in and blow stuff up with a helicopter. Mad fun.

It was lovely and warm here today. But we're getting snow on Wednesday, apparently.
:(

Woohoo! I'm number 8 (or 9 if someone hits the "post" button first =)

Keep the faith re the audition results--remember that all of us monkeys out there are sending lots and lots of positive mojo and vibes your way!

We will see Wil Wheaton opposite Will Smith yet!

Well I spent the weekend visiting my mom. She bought me an awesome NHL ticket for Christmas. So the rich chiropractor and realtor I was sitting beside kept buying me beer. I got to see Ron Maclaine (the real one) and a Don Cherry look alike. But you probably don't even know who those people are.

I didn't give half a damn about the Superbowl cuz I hate football.

The weather of course has been freezing up north here but yesterday it warmed up during the day to a few degrees above freezing so most of the snow melted and then refroze on the streets and sidewalks, making my walk home from the bus depot treturous! My street is a slanted street and I was sideways going to my door and started sliding down the sidewalk. I couldn't stop myself, pretty funny, set me back in my adventure.

Oh and Wil, my boyfriend got 80% in ViceCity without using cheats. Try and top that!!

I hope you make 1 million dollars
that isn't my e-mail, I made it up

OMG i'm so jealous!!!!!!
It's in the 80s. It sooo cold here in New York. The temerpature dropped to the single digits at one time and I think it was negative at the other.
The temperature rose to about 23F and the new casters were saying were having a break from the cold weather.
I'm also sending major Mojo your way for the auditions. GOOD LUCK WIL!!!

Man, I gotta quit hanging around the soapbox before I go to bed. I dreamt you somehow convinced a guy to screw a cat. There was more to it, but it was just...odd. Don't worry, in my dream you were happily married to Anne. My dreams hate me.

Here's hoping you get the I Robot part, if not more should be coming your way.
bob

Hot Diggity! 80 degrees? Well, it was pretty balmy in Boston, too. It got up to a high of almost freezing yesterday. During the middle of last week the overnight lows were -14 Degrees Farenheit with the wind chill factored in. The front pages featured stories about homeless people who died overnight. Not fun.

On a happier note, I called the last interception of the game before the QB even cocked back his throwing arm. Go me!

Hey Wil, sounds like a typical weekend all in all.

The gardening sounds great. I have a lot of that to do myself. We are in the mid-50's here though. I have 10 blue spruce trees I need to get planted. :)

Have a great week! Take care,
~Janece

Hi Wil,

Good to hear that everything is A-O-K on the home front.

Enjoy the weather while you can is right- The humidity will be back sooner then you want it, that's for sure.

Did you see the latest issue of Star Trek Mag.?

They even cropped you out of the group picture from the Wedding.

No wories i cancelled me Subscription yesterday... Yes, a proud monkey i am...

Still wondering what was with you in a "command" dressed uniform though... ? Any clues what the deal was with that?

How's the wife??? I hope she is feeling better then she was on New Years.

Let us know? We get to hear from you why doesn't she help out with the sight?

Later---

Oh and for Adrienne....
The Helicopter is so boring. I watched my boyfriend play that game for hours on end when we didn't have cable. It doesn't move very fast and it's hard to maneuver and as soon as you get it your wanted level soars! Oh well to each their own. I could blow stuff up all throughout the game not just with the helicopter.

Oh and I've had those nights when I have either been playing the game all day or watching my boyfriend play all day and we get in the car to go somewhere. He drives because I always think of Vice City strategies for avoiding traffic. Oh go through the red light, Go around that car, OH MY GOD THERE IS A POLICE CRUISER...FLOOR IT! lol. I would be a danger on the roads if I drove after playing that game.

Wil,

You didn't miss much by not watching the game. Both the game and the commercials were ho-hum this year.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the J. Keith show. I was there and thought everyone did a great job. The "weather" in Utah was priceless. =)

Man, 80 degree weather in the winter and my late grandmother are the only things I miss about living in California. It snowed here in Cleveland for ten hours yesterday. There is more than a foot of snow in my front yard. Stupid lake effect snow.

Haha, I couldn't have cared less about the Superbowl either. I almost went to a Superbowl gathering... for the free food. Stupid sports.

And I hear ya on the wasting time on computers... Although I've had good luck lately. Got my router installed with no hassle on Friday, I was shocked. I'm still waiting for it to explode and scorch my legs or something.

Ummm to Pat. Single digits is not cold. NEW YORK IS NOT EXPERIENCING COLD WEATHER. You and David Letterman should both come up here and experience REAL cold weather and then maybe you won't bitch so much.
My boyfriend is working up in Northerns Alberta and this week it hit -40 degrees. No word of a lie. It's pretty sad that when boston hits -14 factoring in the wind chill that that is the coldest it gets and people are dying. VERY VERY SAD.
Here it feels like there are ice crystals in the wind.Immediately upon walking outside your whole face freezes if it's not covered and forget about not wearing gloves or a toque!
Americans need to wake up, realise they don't have it so bad and quit their whining.

Hi Wil,

This warm weather in January thing is pretty neat. Sorry to hear about the computer problems, those definitely aren't neat at all.

My friend's surprise birthday party was during the SuperBowl yesterday, but she didn't even know that it was SBS... she was wondering why there were black balloons in front of one of the houses on her block and thought there were so many cars in her neighborhood was because there was a funeral going on! I guess she missed the big ol' "RAIDERS NATION" sign taped across the front of their house. Knowing it was SBS might have helped, too...

Anyway, I enjoyed the J Keith Show last week. It was very cool to talk to you & wow, is Anne a babe!

I SO wish I lived in California sometimes, like when it's 80 there and like 10 here. Oh well, it's at least nice to sit in front of the fire watching anything but the superbowl.

Sorry to hear about your computer troubles. I feel your pain.

There was a story on NPR friday about child stars. I heard you tell about what a poop you were when you were younger. Refreshing honesty and stuff.

Wow. 80F. That's 27C for those of us on the metric system. That's freaking summer weather!!

It's been pretty chilly in Toronto this year.... Shouldn't complain, I guess. The past couple of years have been relatively balmy. But, I have to say, walking to work at 7:30 in the morning, before the sun is out, with a temp of -22C (-8F) and a windchill of -31C (-24F)is a tad uncomfortable....

Sounds like you had a fairly quiet weekend, Wil. Glad to hear it. I watched the first part of Superbowl. Don't particularly enjoy American football...much prefer soccer. The only reason I watched even that much of the Superbowl was because I was at my boyfriend's parents' place and they were watching it. About halfway through the second quarter, it occurred to me to ask who was playing... =)

Good luck for the audition results, Wil!

Em

My hubby's addicted to vice city. he's on the level now where he needs to beat someone up with a golf club.

Wil,
The Super Bowl was this past weekend?? Huh...sorry I missed all the hoopla. : )
Here in south central TX, the weather hasn't been in the 80's, but we're anticipating the low 70's by this coming weekend. Glad to hear you were able to hang out and play ball and work on the yard. That's always relaxing for me.
Hopefully you'll hear something this week about the audtion. If not, as someone else said, I'm sure more will follow. Hang in there...
Keeping the mojo flowing...

Take care,

I'm with ya on the Super Bowl, Wil. I used to think that I just didn't like spectator sports, but that was belied by how much I enjoyed going to the minor-league ballpark in Memphis when I lived there. It was way more fun than sitting at home and watching a game, interspersed with about three hundred commercials, or paying big bucks for a game at some major league park. Then again, maybe I'm just a sci fi nerd.

Oh, and Falullah? Can we lighten up, just a little? I think that most people realize that it's probably even colder further up north, just as they're cognizant that it's warmer further south. I've lived in New York, and it doesn't usually require Arctic-grade winter gear. Have a little sympathy, willya...

We here in SE Wisconsin will trade some of that 80-degree weather for two of our wishes and three of our dreams.

Yeah, I tried to care about the Superbowl... but alas, I did not. I didn't even really care about the commercials this year.

I've got my fingers crossed for you on the auditions (and my toes!)

*hugs*
Crystalia

Mmmmmmm........mulch.

Sympathy for the weak and ignorant. Oh you poor dears have to put a coat on before leaving the house...boo hoo. Artic weather? Please quit making a mountain out of a mole hill...My point is you are exagerating and you just want sympathy when you don't really need it. Hmmm typically American.

Geez...Wil. You have everybody in Canada and the eastern sea board of the states down to Carolina...not happy with you mentioning how nice of weather your getting. 80 degrees *whimpers* I wish. It is -11 here with a wind Chill of like -20! We got layers and layers upon layers of snow!

I slid down my sideway yesterday. Do I get any sympathy?? No because you are too preoccupied with the slight chill in the air. But how many of our citizens are dying, not very many if any because we are smart and do what we need to do to stay warm. BOO HOO HOO, POOR AMERICANS. I think this raised a vital social point. So many have it worse off than americans but these issues don't matter until it happens to America. C'mon Wil help me out here...
Sorry for all the posts I will cut it out now.

fallulah, Ummmmmm flamming and trolling isn't exceptable behaviour on this sit. People who usually post here are pretty layed back and good natured kidders....They don't deserve such poor sports and sucky babys mouthing off. Cold is cold is cold no matter if it is -1 or -100. Chill OUT!

PS people here....Wil included are pretty Canadian loving people. You've obviously haven't been here for too long or you'd have gotten a clue about that.

I was enjoying the wonderful Southern California weather this weekend, too. I took my son to Disney's California Adventure and took a couple of rides on Grizzly Bear Rapids.

I was actually looking forward to this years Super Bowl, being a Bay Area native. But I've never seen such a boring, one-sided Super Bowl. I think the Raiders were sleepwalking through the game.

Luck on the auditions, Wil.

-1 degrees F in Detroit this morning. Enjoy your weather!

Wow! A real journal entry. It's good to see you get candid, Wil.

I hope you're down in the dumps, man. It's cold a shitty here, and I've been working opposite shifts to my partner again. Hopefully the other stuff weighing on you doesn't squander your appreciation of the other enjoyments you are able to enjoy.

Good luck!

80's!!??
80's??!!

You're so damn lucky! We're looking at 20-30 degree weather here in the midwest and that's WARM compared to last week!

You should enjoy it. I know I would.

Jesus fucking christ.

would you people grow the fuck up?

Know how much time I wasted this weekend cleaning up stupid, childish, trolling comments here?

Take it someplace else. I don't maintain this website so people can act like idiots.

It's.

The.

Fucking.

WEATHER!

Big. Fucking. Deal.

Grow up.

70's in Boulder, CO. but I wish it were colder. Would be nice to have some 30s and 3' of snow.

Vice City is really appropriately named because I am completely addicted to it. I have to admit that I cheat like a mother. I don't have the patience to play the levels without a crutch. I'm mostly finished with it now. I know I'll never be 100% b/c I cheat, and that doesn't bother me one bit. Am I the only one?

Im addicted to VC too dude, but my friends took it away from me. they said it was keeping me from my homework, theyre right :P thank god for friends

The friend whos keeping my game for me is exactly like you, he cheats for the missions, or when he goes on a rampage... hehe

on the auditions, the Superbowl, playing with the kids and cold weather in Canada.

About the auditions. You'll find out soon enough, and as you've said, you aren't sitting stressing about it. Best you can do is enjoy the time spent with Anne and the kids now, if you are a go on the auditions, you will appreciate the time you get with them now, if you aren't, then it is definitely NOT time wasted.

I was looking forward to the commercials, but we only managed to get the Canadian versions and they sucked pretty bad. If I see another Rayovac commercial anytime soon it will be too soon. (although the ozzy commercial was funny the first time at least). No choice but to watch the game, but at least it was a paid day so that wasn't so bad.

Very cool that you spent the time playing with the kids, what an awesome way to spend the weekend. Since I had to come to work the closest I managed was a $10 CAD (that's like $0.40 USD) bet with one of my teenagers about who would win the game. I just bet against him not having a clue who would win and lost. Made his day at least. I did get some Crash Bandicoot in before the rest went to bed though, so that was cool and fun play time.

Vancouver was nice, some rain but not bad. Didn't need to do up a coat at all. Have only seen snow once this year (Christmas Eve of all days). Americans seem to forget that Canada is wide and has as many tempature changes as the states, albeit somewhat more northerly. Canadians seem to forget that Canada doesn't end west of Ontario, or at the Rockies, and that the rest of us don't bitch about the weather, we just move somewhere else :)

Cheers from the wet coast of Canada ;)

you'll hear from them soon, wil. sounds like a great opportunity for you. keep your chin up. ^_^

well,t hats that for another week *sigh*

80 degrees you have to be kidding me!! Its been like 10 degrees here in Pittsburgh its like 14 right now. WAlking to class is the worst my god I freeze i swear my whole body just turns into a human ice cube. Also I just saw The weakest link star trek edition the other day my god it was pretty fun! Wil you very smart I think you should have went to whole way. Also You saying you Loved roxanne I can not see why she took that so bad my god it was nothing! We mess around with each other here all the time my friends and I with each other and we say horrrrible stuff and it just breazes off people back. Anyways sorry off the topic haha but Sounds like you had a good weekend. P.S. My woman mariah sang the national anthem better at last years super bowl and will be singing the national anthem for the dAytona 500 this year!!! so eveyrone watch :-) Boy im going way off topic for everything arent I haha sorry.

Oh one more thing i forgot to ask how did that Comedy Central thing go?? I thought it was going to be on tv but i guess I was wrong haha.

Wil!!!!!!!!!

Buy "The Getaway" for PS2. Its like GTA, but much more violent, and it has swear words in it. Games which have swearing in are cool! There's nothing more satisfying than walking round a brothel, swearing and killing "thugs"!!

The Super Bowl:

I don't get that channel.

Ha ha!

In the 80s?!?! Wil, I hate you...it's been subfreezin here for a lot of the last week. Normally, it's not lower than 40 or so. Argh!

Hey, seriously...hope you get back a positive on the auditions. I'd love to see it.

Come now. It's not in the 80s all over California, just near Wil.

I know because I'm visiting Santa Cruz, CA (from NYC, thank GOD I'm not there!), and it's been downright cool a lot of the time. I shoulda brought a sweater.

And still, the folks at home want me to die.

No SuperBowl here, either. *yawn*

Santa Cruz is an awfully cute little town, despite its being a mere 6 or so hours away from the haunts of our hero Wil. Yay Santa Cruz.

Wow Wil, I didn't realise you were such a hypocrite. I voice an opinion and you start swearing and acting like a freak.

I think I will take myself elsewhere. I used to love visiting here because positive and negative views could be expressed but now I realise you just want some kind of Utopical site where everyone is happy and praises you. You used to be an actor i looked up to. Now you just make me sad.
Like all things that were dreamt of in childhood, you ended up being a disapointment to me too.
Have a nice life and I hope you enjoy your site now that my worthless posts are gone.

The 80's?

Oh! The temperature not the decade.

It all becomes clear to me now.

Stupid Fahrenheit.

Go Gardening! The new....something that was new & shiny last week.

LOL oh geese maybe I shouldnt of put anything about the weather I didnt read everyones elses post before I posted LOL that is sooo funny. I mean yeah its cold here but i wasnt making a big deal of it in the winter it gets cold....In the summer it gets warm I just prefer the summer. Anyways LOL Wil you post just cracked my ass up!! hahahaha

Wil,

Glad you had a good weekend. I have Vice City as well but havn't played it yet. I am still trying to get through Hitman 2 on ps2. Then it is time for Vice City. I have however played gta and it doesnt get my funner than that. Keep up the good gaming and best to you and your family.

Ozzman.

I ignored the StuporBowl as well. It may have been even warmer here in San Diego. Went for a swim in the ocean, took the kids to a movie.

Wil
Best of luck on the call back.
I hope to see you when you do another show in LA or further south.
Are you going to do Comicon this year?

Mark

What!?! Oh no! Alas, Fallulah realized that Wil runs this site and can do whatever he wants to with it. Strange that someone who preaches about people not being able to handle a little cold weather can't handle a little reality on the internet. Speaking of hypocrites... "F" was such a wonderful poster, I will him/her/it. I used to look up to him/her/it, but now he/she/it just makes me sad...

Oops, here I go with the flaming. Sorry.

For the epitome of American bitching about the weather et al. may I recommend Lewis Black's THE WHITE ALBUM?

Willllllll I sense tiredness but your weekend sounds fun with the kids and gardening (gardening? ok your from California..I'll give that one to you). It was like -20 here in Michigan NOT 80 degrees and my furnace went out at 10 p.m. and the 24 hour repair service (which means you can get our voice mail 24 hours a day but don't expect us to come fix your furnace until 8 a.m. the next day or until we get around to it) didnt get it fixed until 8 am the following day and being the OCD/Neurotic (eww spelling) person I am I was worried the water in the fish tank would freeze and I would have fishcicles the next morning so I slept on the couch with the cats and a space heater I swore would catch the house on fire PLUS the cat was high on catnip all weekend (I sort of accidently overdosed her) and she kept knocking the phone receiver into her food dish making little morsels of Purina cat food fly everywhere.

Sigh..I want to play wiffle balllllll. Ok I'll shut up now.

Shawn LOL funny story

Ah, don't worry, it'll all work out. A few miles over on the coast, it's been in the 70s. But the wind still sucks. By the way, you were very entertaining on the J. Keith van Straaten show. Jesus shitstorm, indeed.

The 80's huh? I'm insanely jealous. I'm in Boston right now and it's 7, that's right 7 fricken degrees! The highest the temperature been the past week or so is 25.

Friend: Tim, did you see the game?
Me: Nope.
Friend: Man, you missed a good one!
Me: Man, I wish I could bring myself to care!

Watched a house a couple of streets from us burn to the ground on Sunday. The back porch was engulfed, and when the firefighters put it out 15 minutes later, there was nothing left.

Kids, WATCH your barbecues, and if you have a turkey fryer, THROW IT AWAY.

Hi Wil!

Haven't been here in a long time, but it's great to see the site is just the way I left it. ;D

Great J. Keith show on Thursday, Wil. I brought a friend and we both laughed the entire time. It was even funnier than the show I attended last year. Maybe next time I'll get the cajones to talk to you afterwards!

Last, but not least - the Raiders lost! WooHoo!

80 degrees?

I loathe you.

Still the nerdiest.

Lucky you! It's 0 degrees here in New York!

Wil,

I concur with you about all the weather comments.

Jesus Shitstorm! I think this should be the new battle cry for all good monkeys... (yay Kelly!)

-Jocelyn

I hope that you aren't mad at me for talking to that troll Wil. Sorry if I went too far. It just pinched a nerve. I am truely glad that you had nice weather there and were able to enjoy having time with your step sons.

80s! Oh you lucky person! In NJ, it's been in the teens and twentys with a serious wind chill factor. Right now, at 7:47 PM EST, it's 13 degrees with a wind chill factor of -2. I wanna live in California!! (whine)

Wheeeee!!! Sounds like you had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good, too - the heat stayed on the entire time. (Yay!)

I did get a cold, though - had to miss snow tubing with the department tonight... oh well. I'm sure it's for the best - there's something about hurtling down a ski slope at Mach 10 on an inflated plastic ring that doesn't seem entirely wise... (;

Wil,
Looks like you had a fun weekend. At the risk of having the Wheaton -Computer-Virus sent to my e-mail. I liked the Super Bowl game. But its not for everyone. Try and have a nice week and don't mess that grass up !!!!!

FG

I just wanna grab your ass and pinch it cuz its so cuuuuuute!!! OMFG did I just post that outloud? I guess I did. TTYL me luv. MUAH!

Oh crap! me whant be first som time! Me love the man-boy long time.

So it turns out that SuperBowl Sunday is the perfect time to go to Six Flags/Magic Mountain, which is where Wee and I spent our day. There were almost no lines for any of the rides - we only had to wait longer than 15 mins for one (Batman). My first time - it rocked! Although it was a little too warm for comfort out there... ;-)

Maybe this would be a good group event for the non-sportsfan Monkeys next year? Just a thought!

Anyway, hope those thumbs heal fast, W. Feels like the nails are gonna just peel right off, doesn't it? The perils of gaming addiction...

T.

i watched one half of the superbowl...the second half...i watched about 2 minutes of the 36 hour pre-game show...and that 2 minutes told me all i needed to know...that it was tampa bay vs. oakland...c'mon...what else do you need to know?...just get it on and play the game!

Ah. 80 degrees. That's nice! It's around 20 degrees here in KY. Not too bad really for me since I spent so many years working outside at a major airport. Of course, I have a few friends in Canada and compared to what they are telling me, 20 is a heat wave LOL

Wil, I am totally glad that you aren't sitting around, all stressed out and worrying yourself ragged over I, Robot. I have to admit, I wish I could be like that over things :)

-----------
The Superbowl: (n) A three-hour long commercial, with occasional portions of a football game showing sporadicly every few minutes
-----------

This is unrelated to anything, but as I type this, I have a television on and I just saw a commercial for Spam (no, not the email kind, the real kind!) I'll tell you, that is something to be stressed about! Have you ever tasted that stuff?! YUCK!! It's the first Spam commercial I've seen in a while. The scary part about it, is that I used to LOVE that stuff when I was a kid. I'd eat it right out of the can! Must be why I'm such a messed up adult eh? >;}

Wil: "Tried very hard to care about the Superbowl, but I just couldn't do it."

WHOO! YES! I'm with you, dude.

However, I don't think my level of trying qualified for "very hard." More like "hardly at all."

I meant to mention this earlier, but because I'm all about me, I forgot - mucho bueno mojo for your auditions, Wil. I hope you hear something soon.

WTF? I'm a little jealous of your nice weather, so what? Sheesh.

well... i'm not going to say much about the weather, because 80 degrees farenheit (sp?) is paltry and insignificant compared to the 110+ temperatures we've been enduring here in the land of the Big Brown Flat Bits. I will, however, tell you, mr wheaton, that I'm on the final mission of VC and it's very very fkkng hard. So, nothing of interest at all, really.

The 80s? One can only dream. Last time I checked the temperature here (in PA) it was -3. I'm drooling with jealousy.

Sounds great, 80 degrees, enjoy it while you can. Sorry you haven't heard about the audition yet, but it is early days. If you want cold, anyone, try Winnipeg - windchill minus 40 - again! Enough, already, I have fantasies about buying thermal underwear...surely I should be fantasizing about some gorgeous actor or something, this is pathetic. Anyway, best mojo to you, young Wil, it will happen when it's gonna happen...

Just wanted to see if I could post with wils name?

How do I know when the real wil is posting?

How do you know when the real Wil is posting?

You just know.

You.

Just.

Know.

Easy.....PEOPLE DONT POST WITH WILLS NAME!!!

Thank you :-)

OH MY GOD im sorry WIL'S NAME there we go

The HORROR of the superfluous "L"...It raises it's extra head again!!

*runs away in complete and total terror*

http://www.thebluebrick.net/friendsspinoff.html

Found this on Fark...thought you might find it amusing. Wil gets a bit part. :)

Still wishing you good MOJO on the auditions. And i'm very upset that i"m stuck in the rain, and your stuck in the hot winter 80s.

Sweet Wil in a sitcom.

Just checking to see if I can post as MrsVeteran here.

Signed,

Edgar, or something

the guy with the really angry cat

Wil I think you need a little mojo...so I'm sending some to you now.
Rick

Wiffle ball rules! Sounds like you had a blast with the boys. :D

My roommates and I went sledding instead of watching the Superbowl. Well, instead of watching the part of the Superbowl that came after the very awesome Matrix promo.

*geek* :P

Yea, doncha love California. Where else in the U.S. is it in the 80's at the end of January.

Sounds like Spring is coming early for LA.

Computers suck as far as spending lots & lots of hours and still not getting what you want done or to work right. It takes a VERY, very patient man to make them work correctly all of the time.

Hey Wil, have you ever been to Alex Poyas' official website? He has a forum in there and your name has been mentioned in there quite a bit... including a statement from him personally... nothing about your chances or anything but... well you should read it for yourself I guess... http://www.mysteryclock.com

go to the Forums and look around... you'll find it.

Chuck

P.S. have you met Tim Dezarn?

Wil,

sound better than what I did...

this weekend I'm looking forward to !

WIL WHEATON STARRING IN A PAX MADE FOR T.V. MOVIE

BOOK OF DAYS !!!

ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 31st ! 2003

CONSULT YOUR T.V. GUIDE !

other than that I'll have a rather dull weekend..

Wil, I sympathize with wasting 18 hours trying to do several computer things, only to have none of them work.

You know what, though?

This is why we geek. :)

Computers being stupid seems to be going around. My dad is fixing his and he keeps randomly unplugging the cable modem. It bugs. Oh well, what can ya do.
I felt the same way about the superbowl. I suppose I should have felt something or other since I live half an hour from Oakland...but...no. I rebelled and went to the movies. (2 thumbs up for confessions of a dangerous mind, btw)
Anyway, I'm keeping up that mojo for ya man. If not for I, Robot then for something equally as cool and rewarding. :-)

Hehehe, Vice City... coolest game I've ever played...

Ooh, it's bitter cold here in good old NJ! I feel the cold worse than most people I talk to- while my co-workers wear a sweater and they're fine, I'm wearing 4- you got it, 4- sweatshirts, long johns under my jeans, 2 pairs of socks, and a knit cap- and this is inside, mind you! It's just really cold in my store. Wil, I wish I could be in your 80 degree weather... I have sympathy for those of you who are too cold (or too hot), like me, and if anyone slips down their driveway, I'll feel sympathy for you, too- but I have to know first, don't I? Fallulah expected sympathy for sliding down her (?) driveway, but she hadn't told anyone about it, so how could she get sympathy? So there. I am now going to vanish in a puff of logic.
Love, Alicia

I hope that the audition news that comes back is excellent!

And enjoy your 80 deg F weather - we're currently 19 deg F - but that's like a heat wave since the high has been only 10 deg F the last few days.

Heyyyy. I don't remember writing that.

Must be the meds.

But, DAMN I'm funny! That is some funny shit right there.

Yes sirree, bob.

Dammit, I forgot what I was going to say.

Oh, yeah. Wil, you spent 18 hours on computer things. That time wasn't wasted, it was a valuable learning experience.

And I'm glad it was you, and not me. That shit is frustrating!

..stupid computers"..THAT was the BEST part!!

Wow, 80 huh. Oddly enough it's been that hot here too. Actually I heard that on Sunday it got up to 90, which means we "Cast members" get a nice cup of ice to keep us quote, unquote, cool. Glad it was a little cooler in Pasadena.

Wow, I can not imagine what it is like to wait that long to hear an answer about something like an audition. Been to one in our lives, heard our fate on the same day. Cheers to you for patience. Although they say the best is worth waiting for so we know whatever happens is for the best and we hope you get the part. As for the "Who's the Ross?" show, we hated Ross on friends, but sounds like an interesting show, considering watching it for your part and of course Tony Danza. Hope to see that soon and have a great week, we know we will. *cheesy smile*

Wil,

I'm a long time reader, big time fan, and first time poster.

Anyways, just like to say that you're the greatest, and that your site cheers me up when I'm in a bad mood.

Anyways, thanks to you I'm now reading a copy of I, Robot for my term paper in English, and IT'S AWESOME! I really hope you get the part. As an aspiring actor myself, I know how it is not to get parts, and here's some mojo to you, to me, and to all of us....mojo....mojo.

Peace,

Scott

80! It's freakin' 19 here with no end in sight!

For a change, the weather was cooler in Florida than it was where the Bucs played. I live in Melbourne, Fla.

I am curious to know what computer stuff occupied your weekend? I have been converting a website from MySQL to Postgres. The PHP frontend is working. The backend cgi was written in C++ and has been a bear to convert.

BTW I saw "Buddy System" on AMC Sunday morning. An excellent performance. How old you were then?
Regards, Ken

oh, no- you play vice city??? i hope you don't let your kids play that! no joke- that game is such crap. anyway, i still think you're cool. and i'm jealous you can go outside when it's 18 degrees where i am! :)

Wow. Since I found this site, I've found it very different to hear things like what you post from someone famous.

Then today after setting my controller down less than 24 hours ago, I see:

"Played so much Vice City my thumbs hurt, and I dreamed that I was Tommy Vercetti last night. Very lucid, very strange."

And regard my sore left thumb with a strange amusement as I think, "Wil F'n Wheaton plays Vice City."

And then I just think... Wow. (And wonder more about what games you play.)

Yeah! Bring on the Vice City! Haven't had the dreams yet but can play the game at any time for any length of time! And the louder you play it the better!

Now get out there and car jack some speedo wearing guy driving a Ferrari!
