i dream of a man whose hopes never end
Couple of nifty news items that I think are pretty cool:
- The Los Angeles Times has a spiffy article (lame reg required) about 'celebrity' (ugh) weblogs, and Dana Kennedy wrote rather kindly about me and my site.
- Paul Bond wrote a very cool story about my O'Reilly deal for The Hollywood Reporter, and it was picked up by Reuters!!!

I seem to remember a time in the not so distant past, You were racking your brain trying to think of ways to promote your book. You seemed to be a bit skeptical as to whether anyone would even buy your book, much less want to read it.
Look at you now!

I wonder who'll benefit more? You, getting more hits because of the article, or the LA Times, getting more people to sign up because of this mention in your blog?

Good article. It is interesting to share the metamorphisis of a cultural icon of one sort into an icon of another sort. One day historians will force a generation of college freshmen to take a survey course on the "Blogosphere" and WWdN will be required reading.

I'm signing up right now as I type this... (My email account has already been spammed to hell, so I don't care what the LA Times does with it)
I just hate sites that tease me with a useless 'country' select box while limiting the number of characters I can enter into the 'zip code box' (without the slash/postalcode option most sites offer... since not everyone is American)
