« \m/ | Main | lake tanganyika, where the crocodiles swim » February 23, 2004lowercase west thomasI have become disenchanted with the license issues over at Text America. I'm sure they're really good guys and all, but I sort of want to hold on to the commercial rights for my images, so starting today, I'm moving my camera blog (for fuck's sake, does everything have to be called a "something blog?") from there over to Buzznet. They have, among other things, a really nifty Creative Commons license generator, and I think that's just swell. Thanks to exciting script technology, the space immediately beneath will forever hold the four most recent images in my Buzznet Gallery. You must have Javascript enabled to see the fun. MY FIRST, FIRST !!! Posted by: Griff at February 23, 2004 11:57 PMJust wanted to say I dig the title to this entry...or whatever it's called. Posted by: Lauren at February 24, 2004 12:48 AMVERY glad you've decided to use Buzznet! Posted by: :: jozjozjoz :: at February 24, 2004 01:01 AMVery cool pics. I like the bus or subway photo. The pic of you at the table is cool too. You almost look like you should be on celebrity Poker. Posted by: retrorandy at February 24, 2004 01:10 AMHey, Wil. Do you think that you could perhaps put the nsfw links in a different color so that one doesn't accidentally go to the Asia Carerra site at work? Safari doesn't have the capability to list the web addy when you mouse over the link, and I hate to have to use that other browser that's installed in my Powerbook. AJ Posted by: Alisha at February 24, 2004 05:37 AMIt seems to me that EULA are becoming more overbearing and indecipherable to mere mortals. Does anyone actually read them? I guess Wil does... To Alisha - in Safari's View menu, enable the Status Bar to see link addresses at bottom of the window. Posted by: hank at February 24, 2004 08:01 AMThanks, Hank! Posted by: Alisha at February 24, 2004 09:10 AMThe Textamerica terms say that they (Textamerica.com) can use, sell, or share any information you provide including name, email, images, and text. Um ... yeah. I don't think so. Posted by: MV at February 24, 2004 09:40 AMHey Wil - why not just host the site yourself, using MT? You've already got it all in place - it's just a matter of setting up the new blog. I'm using MT to maintain http://staticred.net/photoredux/ Posted by: Darren James Harkness at February 24, 2004 10:34 AMHey, Wil listens to the Get Up Kids! \m/ I've been keeping my galleries done on my own site and host, but it's a lot of work, and hence, less pictures. I wish there was a good solution that would integrate into my site to do what it looks like now. Posted by: JohnG at February 24, 2004 01:04 PMWil, All is not blog. There is live journal. Posted by: Carna Flux at February 25, 2004 07:04 AMMaybe a camera 'blog' should follow the original format? WebLog = 'blog' CameraLog = ....'clog'...??? Ahem...
