May 20, 2005

a final thought before the weekend

Boy, this has been a prolific morning for me, hasn't it? Before I walk away from the computer for the rest of the weekend (yeah, right!) . . . I forgot to mention that I will not be in ACME: A Day in the Life tomorrow, because I'm in my friend's wedding. (Hooray! Congratulations Stephanie and Patrick!)

A brilliant actor is covering all of my roles, and the show will still be fantastic, and worth seeing, but if you were planning to see my particular version of teh funnay, you'll have to wait until next week.

Okay, I'm totally walking away now.

Seriously! I am.

Shut up!

Oh, crap! I forgot: the story I did with Xeni for Day to Day will hit the Internets around 3PM EDT today.

Okay, now I'm walking away.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

Um... now what do Anna and I do with these ACME tickets? They're WORTHLESS!

I'm just going to put them in a Geocache.

wil;

dunno if you know, but this gets rss fed to livejournal, at http://www.livejournal.com/users/wilwheaton/

simple enough, makes sure I get to read you every day. I love the site.

The problem is, there's this total wanker on there who feels the need to post EVERY DAY, as soon as possible, 'Wil doesn't read this.'

If you ever have 5 spare minutes on a dull day, would you mind going there and reading it, just so that we can confirm the wanker is, well, a wanker?

At your leisure, of course.

Or we could BLOCK LJ from getting the feed, and you can pick up the RSS from EggRadio.com while you're listening.

Wil,

I caught the article on NPR today that you did w/ Xeni. Pretty interesting. It's always nice to hear you on the air.

Here's a question for you Wil -- is there a type of game that you are not comfortable doing a voice over for?

Posted by: vavoom [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 21, 2005 02:49 AM

Have a great time at the wedding!!! No computer for YOU!

Tonight's our monthly poker party. (as my hub and his friends would say... poker? I don't even know 'er) So, I must prepare for my starring role as the galley wench. I think other wives might be coming this time, so I might get to escape from the kitchen.

Have a good one.

Wil! Great job in wearing the lucky Arsenal shirt. I think that was the luck we needed. And we WERE lucky... but we won!

Now I need a nap.

Wil,

Stop dragging your feet and go see Star Wars ;)

You don't want to be a player hater (LOL)

Was playing tennis today amidst numerous thunderheads. I looked up and saw a cloud that looked just like the Starship Enterprise. Weird weird weird.

Hey Wil -- Caught the show with my son after going to E3. The show was funny and well done. Bummer you weren't there, tho. Seeing you in leggings would have been funny. ;-)

Saw Danica at the show, btw (and no, I wasn't the fan that approached her). I wonder if she knew you wouldn't be there?

Hi Wil - love the site. Good writing is a joy to see! Venus mag, a wee little feminist indie music mag out of Chicago gave you some props, and I thought I'd pass it along, you know, to spread the love and all. They said, "In fourth grade I was obsessed with Stand By Me. My friend Mindy was in love with Wil Wheaton and I had a crush on River Phoenix. I'm really not sure if Mindy (who could be called many things, but “nerd” isn't one of them) would approve of how her beloved Wil turned out as a self-described geek. He had a blog waaaaaay before blogs were cool and, with a memoir to his name, has now transcended the role of former child star to author. His entries make him seems funny and easygoing in a way that makes him effortlessly likable. One of the few celebrity blogs where you can really feel like you're getting to know someone." They can be found at venusmag dot com. Keep up the great work! Elizabeth

Wil,
I have faith that everything went great last weekend. You seem to have that kind of luck.

Hope you had a good weekend, Wil!

And hey! I'm sure you've heard by now that, over the Memorial Day weekend, SciFi is running a marathon of about 30 different flicks, and wouldn't you know it, Python is one of them! Cool factoid for the week: They're finishing off the promo spots with...

"Dude! You got me out of bed for a snake?"

Rawk!

For all the jests that you couldn't make it through the weekend...it's tuesday.
